The President of the Luv Kush Ramlila Committee, renowned in the country and abroad, Shri Arjun Kumar told in the full dress rehearsal press conference held at the Leela venue, Red Fort Ground, Delhi, that Ramlila will be staged this year from 3 to 13 October 2024 and Dussehra festival will be celebrated with great pomp and show across the country on 12 October 2024. Bhojpuri film superstar, singer, BJP MP Shri Manoj Tiwari will play the role of Lord Parshu Ram, while Abhinay Chaturvedi, who became a star by playing the role of Nanhe in Doordarshan's famous serial Hum Log, will play the role of Bharat ji on the Leela stage. Vijender Gupta, Leader of Opposition in Delhi Legislative Assembly, is playing the role of King Janak and former MLA Vijay Jolly is playing the role of BJP leader Guru Vashisht, former Mayor Jathedar Avtar Singh Kumbhkaran, Apollo Hospital's Dr. Ashok Sharma Susan Vaigh, retired Army Major Shalu Verma is playing the role of Kaikeyi etc.

Arjun Kumar said that famous film star Himanshu Soni will play the role of Lord Shri Ram, Kanan Malhotra will play the role of Shri Ram's younger brother Laxman, Sameeksha Bhatnagar will play the role of Jagat Janani Mata Sita Maiya, actor Ketan Karande will play the role of Ram devotee Hanuman, film actor Nimai Bali will play the role of Mahabali Ravana, legendary actor Asrani will play the role of King Janak's chief minister, singer Shankar Sahni will play the role of Boatman, Manish Chaturvedi will play the role of Shiva, Hemant Pandey will play the role of Hari devotee Narad, Mohit Tyagi will play the role of Vibhishan, Vigha Shukla will play the role of Kaushalya etc.

According to Shri Arjun Kumar, this time Ramlila will be performed completely with digital technology. In this work, the committee will present the scenes of the Leela on stage with computer graphics, designers as well as a team of experienced technicians from Mumbai on a grand scale. The committee has recorded all the devotional songs of the Leela in a new format with famous music directors and singers from Mumbai.

While addressing the press conference, the General Secretary of Luv Kush Ramlila Committee, Shri Subhash Goyal said that on the evening of October 1, there will be a Bhajan Sandhya along with Khatu Shyam Sankirtan Mahotsav by famous Bhajan singer Shri Kanhaiya Mittal on the Leela stage and there will be a discourse and Bhajan program by Aniruddhacharya Ji Maharaj. On October 2, under the aegis of International Ramlila Festival Association, the entire Ramayana will be staged by school students of Delhi NCR.

Actor and MP Shri Manoj Tiwari said that I have been playing characters in the Ramlila of my village since childhood. I am happy that I have played the role of Kewat, Angad etc. on the stage of Luv Kush Ramlila in the past. This time I will play the role of Lord Parshu Ram. Playing the role of Lord Parshu Ram is definitely very challenging, so I am preparing for this role right now. Leader of Opposition in Delhi Legislative Assembly Vijender Gupta said that I am involved in the work of Lord Shri Ram and I got the opportunity to play the role of Raja Janak on the stage of Luv Kush Ramlila Committee, for this I thank the committee, this is a matter of pride for me.
