Chief Guest Ankur Warikoo inspires students to embrace an entrepreneurial mindset

K.R. Mangalam University organised ‘Aarambh 2026’ Orientation Day for its newly admitted students with great enthusiasm and excitement. The event extended a warm welcome to the new students and marked the beginning of their academic journey at the University.
Addressing the gathering, Chancellor Padma Shri Prof. Dinesh Singh stated that the country is witnessing a transformative phase driven by the Artificial Intelligence (AI) revolution, and that young people have a crucial role to play in realising the vision of Viksit Bharat @2047. He encouraged students to embrace innovation, pursue knowledge and explore emerging opportunities to contribute meaningfully to the nation’s progress.
The Chief Guest, renowned entrepreneur and content creator Mr. Ankur Warikoo, encouraged students to look beyond conventional education and develop creative thinking, adaptability and an entrepreneurial mindset to succeed in a rapidly changing world.
Vice-Chancellor Prof. (Dr.) Anil Kumar Saini emphasised that education should not only impart knowledge but also instil values, character and a sense of responsibility towards nation-building. He stated that the University is committed to implementing the spirit of the National Education Policy (NEP) 2020 and equipping students with future-ready knowledge and skills to address emerging challenges and compete effectively in a global environment.

Registrar, K.R. Mangalam University told that on  the occasion, startups associated with the University’s Business Incubator were felicitated and presented with Letters of Intent (LOIs). A Student Council Badging Ceremony was also organised, while outstanding student clubs were recognised with Best Club Awards for their exemplary contributions.
Adding vibrancy to the celebrations, renowned singer Ms. Akasa Singh enthralled the audience with her energetic live musical performance, making the occasion especially memorable for the newly admitted students.
The programme was graced by the distinguished presence of Mr. Yashdev Gupta, Chairman; Mr. Abhishek Gupta, Pro-Chancellor; Mr. Rohit Gupta, Director; Ms. Kanishka Gupta, Deputy Director; Prof. (Dr.) Anil Kumar Saini, Vice-Chancellor; and Prof. (Dr.) Rahul Sharma, Registrar, along with all Deans, senior officials, faculty members, staff and newly admitted students of the University.
