Breakthrough Prosthesis Technology Unveiled at CRE Program.

A groundbreaking Continuing Rehabilitation Education (CRE) program on Direct Socket Technology for prostheses was inaugurated today by Dr. Vandana Talwar, Medical Superintendent, at Safdarjung Hospital. The event, jointly organized by the Orthotic and Prosthetic Association of India (OPAI) Delhi Chapter and the Department of Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation (PMR) at Safdarjung Hospital, marks a significant step forward in prosthetic innovation.

The program aims to introduce and educate healthcare professionals about the latest advancements in prosthetic technology, focusing on Direct Socket Technology. This breakthrough approach promises to enhance comfort and functionality for prosthetic users, potentially revolutionizing the field of prosthetics. Dr. Ajay Gupta, Head of the PMR Department at Safdarjung Hospital, along with other esteemed members of the medical community, were present at the inauguration. The event highlighted the collaborative efforts between medical professionals and prosthetic experts to improve the quality of life for individuals requiring prosthetic limbs.
