Training of 147 new civil defence volunteers completed under Jhabua tehsil

Keeping in view the important role of civil defence volunteers in the current situation, instructions have been received from the government to create maximum number of civil defence volunteers.

In compliance with this instruction, new civil defence volunteers will be created and trained in all the tehsils of the district under the guidance of Civil Defence Controller and Collector Neha Meena.

Training of 147 new civil defence volunteers created under Jhabua tehsil was organised in the community hall of DRP Line Jhabua.

In the training given by District Commandant Home Guard SD Pillai and his SDRF team, training was given on what to do when the siren is sounded in an air raid or emergency situation, extinguishing fire, emergency procedures for removing the injured buried under the debris and giving them first aid and taking them to the ambulance. Apart from this, they were also given information about rescue work during earthquake and flood. First aid and CPR training was given by the doctor of the district hospital. Jhabua SDM Bhaskar Gachle, Deputy Collector HS Vishwakarma, Ms Avanadhati Pradhan, Tehsildar Jhabua Sunil Dawar and Naib Tehsildar Jhabua Mrs Namita Rathore were present in this training. The trainees found this training very useful and assured that they will always be ready to help the administration to save lives and property of people in any emergency situation.
