The executive committee of Delhi Crime Reporters Association formed.

A meeting of Delhi Crime Reporters Association was organized under the patronage of senior journalist Lalit Vats. In which, detailed discussion was held on various problems faced by crime reporters during crime reporting. Some senior journalists working on crime beat along with crime reports from various TV channels, newspapers and media institutions also participated in the meeting. In which an executive committee was unanimously formed to discuss and resolve various issues and problems faced by crime reporters during news gathering. The executive committee was authorized to talk to the official representatives of Delhi Police, CBI, ED and all paramilitary forces for issues related to the security of crime reporters as well as problems related to news gathering. The executive was also authorized to consider and take decisions for better relations between the police and crime reporters.

The following office bearers were nominated in the newly formed executive of Delhi Crime Reporters. Lalit Vats has been appointed as the patron and advisor and President Jogendra Solanki, Senior Vice President Satyendra Tripathi, Vice President Atul Bhatia, Anand Tiwari, Jitendra Sharma, Vijay Sharma, and General Secretary Rajiv Nishana, Treasurer Dinesh Vats, Secretary Anuj Mishra, Arvind Ojha, Shankar Anand, Sanjeev Yadav, Organization Secretary Sunil Verma, Joint Secretary Purushottam Verma, Rakesh Rawat, Joint Secretary Punit Sharma, apart from 11 executive members, Amlesh Raju, Krishna Kunal Singh, Shivendra, Manoj Tandon, Jitendra Bachchan from Ghaziabad, Shakti Singh, Dinesh Sharma from Noida, Ravindra Jayant from Greater Noida, Deepak Sharma from Gurugram, besides Ravindra Kumar was appointed as the press secretary.
