In view of the excessive rain and flood situation in the state, Chief Minister Dr Mohan Yadav has instructed the officers and employees not to go on leave until the situation becomes normal.

Chief Minister Dr Mohan Yadav has said that due to the change in the cycle of rain, the rainfall in the month of September is more than what should be the rainfall. Despite heavy rainfall, life should remain normal, so rescue work should be done by taking necessary precautions in time...

People living in low-lying settlements should be alerted in time and shifted to relief camps as per requirement. Necessary caution and vigilance should be increased immediately on those culverts and bridges on which there is water.

Chief Minister Dr. Yadav said that relief will be provided in case of loss of life and animal loss due to the effect of heavy rainfall.

Chief Minister Dr. Yadav announced to provide assistance of Rs. 4 lakh each to all the collectors in case of loss of life and directed the collectors to immediately provide the amount to the family members.

Chief Minister Dr. Yadav said that wherever people are trapped in flood water, immediate arrangements should be made to airlift them with the help of helicopters.

Protective arrangements should be made by identifying old dilapidated buildings and if necessary, the residents should be shifted to a safe place.
