MEMBER OF GOGI GANG WANTED IN MULTIPLE CASES OF EXTORTION, ARMS ACT ETC. ARRESTED

With the objective of curbing organized crime and ensuring the apprehension of notorious offenders, law enforcement agencies have intensified their surveillance and intelligence efforts. A focused drive was initiated wherein a list of hardcore and long-absconding criminals involved in heinous crimes was compiled. Alongside technical surveillance, manual intelligence networks were also activated to gather actionable inputs leading to their arrest.

INFORMATION & ARREST TEAM:

On 06.06.2025, specific intelligence was received by HC Rajesh and HC Janak, both posted with NR-I, Crime Branch, regarding the whereabouts of accused Sachin @ Shinni, a key operative of the notorious Gogi Gang. He was wanted in several cases of firing for extortion, assault, criminal intimidation, and under the Arms Act.

Acting promptly, team comprising of ASI Sumit, HC Trishpal, HC Rajesh & HC Janak under the leadership of Inspector Pankaj Thakran & supervision of Sh. Ashok Sharma, ACP/NR-I, Crime Branch successfully laid a trap and apprehended the accused. He was properly identified as:

? Sachin Khatri @ Shinni S/o Late Krishan R/o Village Bakner, Narela, Delhi.

 

INCIDENTS IN WHICH THE ACCUSED WAS WANTED:

1. FIR No. 646/24 dated 30.09.2024 under Section 125 BNS and 27 Arms Act, PS Narela. Along with co-accused Akshay Panchal @ Taxi, the accused fired multiple gunshots at the residence of a woman from the Sansi community with the intent to extort money. 

2. FIR No. 502/24 dated 11.08.2024 under Sections 333/305/308(4)/351(2)/3(5) BNS, PS Alipur. On the instructions of Narender Khatri @ Sonu (reported to have fled abroad via the “donkey route”), extortion threats were extended to a property dealer in Alipur, demanding 01 Crore. Gang members forcibly entered the office and looted 05 Lakhs. 

3. FIR No. 30/25 dated 30.10.2025 – PS Crime Branch. Accused was wanted under Section 25 A of the Arms Act in this case.

4. FIR No. 219/25 dated 27.04.25 u/s 110/126(2)/324(4)/351(2)/3(5) PS Alipur. Accused, along with his associates, attacked the complainant of FIR No. 502/24 to force him to withdraw the case and meet the extortion demands.

? Background: A school drop-out, Sachin fell into bad company during his early teenage years. He became an active member of the Gogi Gang, engaging in violent and organized criminal activities such as extortion, assault, and use of illegal arms.
