Gulshan Paruthi - Gwalior.
A large number of city dwellers visited the Solar Fair, got information about installing solar plants and booked for installing solar plants at their homes.
The two-day Solar Fair organized by the Madhya Pradesh Chamber of Commerce and Industry was inaugurated today by DIG Gwalior Range- Shri Amit Sanghi by cutting the ribbon. On this occasion, he said that the present era is of non-conventional energy instead of conventional energy - in which solar and wind energy are prominent. The Chamber of Commerce works on commercial and industrial activities as well as public interests. This Solar Fair is an example of this. Gwalior residents will be inspired to adopt solar energy through this fair. Cheap electricity is available from solar and its maintenance is also very low. Solar vendors are getting an opportunity to display their products through this fair. The fair will inspire more and more people to use solar energy. This fair is a golden opportunity for solar vendors and city residents.
After the inauguration of the solar fair, a large number of city residents visited the solar fair, obtained information about installing solar plants and made bookings for installing solar plants at their homes.
Before this, DIG-Mr. Amit Sanghi was welcomed by the officials by presenting him a basket of fruits and a shawl.
In the welcome address, President-Dr. Praveen Agarwal said that today is a very auspicious day. Heartiest greetings to everyone on Ganesh Chaturthi. Today is Pushya Nakshatra from 11.37 am to 8 pm. This solar fair is also being inaugurated during this period. Why does the country need solar energy? You told that there was a time when there was a shortage of electricity in our state and the state government had to buy and supply electricity. A lot of revenue was also spent in this. Then the government started promoting solar energy. Our country should become self-reliant in solar energy, so the government is giving subsidy on solar energy. You told that the cost of installing a solar plant of 3 kW capacity is Rs. 1 lakh 90 thousand. In this, the government is giving a subsidy of Rs. 78 thousand. By installing solar panels, the amount of electricity consumed will also be generated. This two-way system will make us self-sufficient in the field of electricity. The next step of the Chamber of Commerce will be to inspire industries to also move towards solar energy.
Honorary Secretary Deepak Agarwal, who was conducting the inaugural program, said that it is very important to move towards green energy for environmental protection. This team of the Chamber of Commerce has kept environmental protection in its agenda and like last year, this year also a solar fair is being organized so that people adopt solar energy and take their home electricity bills to zero over time. Renowned solar vendors of the country have set up their stalls in this fair.
At the end of the program, DIG, Gwalior Range- Shri Amit Sanghi ji was presented a memento by Joint President- Hemant Gupta. Thanks were expressed by Vice President- Dr. Rakesh Agarwal.
