Lions Club Delhi Veg Hosts Installation Ceremony, Announces Service Projects for 2024-25

Lions Club Delhi Veg successfully held the installation ceremony of Lion President Kapil Khandelwal and his board of directors for the Lionistic Year 2024-25 at Bikanervala, Gurugram. The event was marked by great representation from the Lions District 321 A1 cabinet and esteemed dignitaries.

The ceremony was presided over by Chief Guest Lion N. K. Gupta, District Governor who officiated as the Installation Officer. Lion Pradeep Singhal, Immediate Past District Governor, delivered a powerful keynote address. Lion Onkar Singh Renu, Vice District Governor-I, shared valuable words of wisdom. The event was also graced by Vice District Governor-II, Sandeep Kumar, along with several past district governors including Lions V. S. Kukreja, Vijay Budhiraja, Nargis Gupta, and M. L. Arora.

Lion Dr. Gaurav Gupta, Charter President, delivered a congratulatory speech, reaffirming his confidence in the dynamic new leadership under Lion President Kapil Khandelwal. He expressed his belief in their ability to steer the club towards impactful service initiatives.

The newly appointed team includes CA Mukul Garg as Secretary and Rajess Pandey as Treasurer, both of whom are committed to leading the upcoming service projects for the year.

A special acknowledgment was extended to Past President Lion Navratan Aggarwal, Director of Bikanervala, for his gracious hospitality during the event.

The ceremony was honored by the presence of distinguished diplomats, including Mr. Petr, Press Attaché of the Russian Federation, and Basim Heliss from Palestine, alongside expats from Korea, Iran, and Jordan.

In celebration of World Charity Day, Lions Club Delhi Veg donated ?21,000 to the Lions Club School in Delhi, along with 1,000 notebooks and 4,000 textbooks to the District Governor.

The cultural highlight of the evening was an enthralling dance performance by Mudra Kathak Studio, adding to the festive atmosphere.

Special thanks were given for the wonderful gifts presented during the ceremony, including Amla sweets by Kapil Khandelwal, diaries and plants from Mukesh Pandey, mobile stands by CA Mukul Garg, Patkas from Gopal Krishan Khandelwal, gift bags from Nirmal Randhawa of Indica Beauty Clinic, and heartfelt appreciation to Navratan Aggarwal for his outstanding hospitality. GTTCI and Ms. Asha were also thanked for their gifts.

The event concluded with a sense of unity and optimism, as the Lions Club Delhi Veg looks forward to another year of impactful service under its new leadership
