Jagat Prakash Nadda today listened to the ‘Mann Ki Baat’ program at Defence Colony along with Vinod Tawde, Baijayant Jay Panda, Virendra Sachdeva, Bansuri Swaraj, and retired army officers.

For the first time in Delhi, a large number of retired army officers listened to the ‘Mann Ki Baat’ program.

The Chief Minister, along with MP Yogendra Chandolia, also listened to Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s ‘Mann Ki Baat’.

Harsh Malhotra, Manoj Tiwari, Ramvir Singh Bidhuri, and Kamaljeet Sehrawat attended the program at various booths.

New Delhi, 27 July: Today, the Delhi BJP organized Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi’s Mann Ki Baat program across all 14 organizational districts. BJP’s national leadership, MPs, MLAs, and state office bearers listened to the broadcast along with local residents.

BJP National President and Union Health Minister Shri Jagat Prakash Nadda, in the presence of BJP National Vice President Shri Baijayant Jay Panda, National General Secretary Shri Vinod Tawde, Delhi BJP President Shri Virendra Sachdeva, and New Delhi MP Ms. Bansuri Swaraj, listened to the program along with retired Indian Army officers.

Under the coordination of local MLA Shri Neeraj Basoya, a significant number of retired Indian Army officers participated for the first time in Delhi to listen to Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s address. District President Shri Ravindra Chaudhary, BJP National Media Co-Convenor Shri Sanjay Mayukh, Delhi BJP Media Head Shri Praveen Shankar Kapoor, National Spokespersons Shri Pradeep Bhandari and Shahzad Poonawalla, State Spokesperson Shri Yasir Jilani, and Delhi Convenors for Mann Ki Baat Shri Rajan Tiwari and Shri Vikram Mittal were also present.

Delhi BJP President Shri Virendra Sachdeva stated that Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi consistently strives to bring positive stories and initiatives from across the country to the public through Mann Ki Baat. As a result, the program has now become a people’s movement.

Shri Sachdeva added that the way Shri Modi highlighted how science in the 21st century is rapidly progressing with renewed energy is commendable. He mentioned the recent success of Indian students at the International Chemistry Olympiad and that students also won 3 golds, 2 silvers, and 1 bronze medal at the International Mathematical Olympiad held in Australia — a matter of great pride.

Additionally, Union Minister of State Shri Harsh Malhotra, in the esteemed presence of Delhi BJP’s Organizational General Secretary Shri Pawan Rana, attended the program in Gharauli, East Delhi, with Mayur Vihar District President Shri Vijendra Dhama and party workers. He said that the Prime Minister uses the last Sunday of each month to communicate important national issues to the public — a unique initiative globally. It allows people to stay informed about developments in other states as well.

MP Shri Manoj Tiwari attended the program at Wazirabad village with MLA Shri Surya Prakash Khatri and local residents.

MP Shri Ramvir Singh Bidhuri listened to Mann Ki Baat with party workers in Govindpuri.

Chief Minister Smt. Rekha participated in the program at Badli Assembly with MP and State General Secretary Shri Yogendra Chandolia and local residents. She said that Prime Minister Modi’s Mann Ki Baat is a significant source of inspiration for today’s youth. As the nation’s leader, he has used this platform not for politics but to promote the country’s diverse traditions and arts to the masses.

Ms. Bansuri Swaraj, speaking to the media after the program, said that Mann Ki Baat is an optimistic program that inspires youth and rekindles self-confidence across the country. She added that the Prime Minister highlighted many national achievements in the latest broadcast — from developments in the space sector to women-led waste management initiatives.

MP and State General Secretary Smt. Kamaljeet Sehrawat attended the program with local residents in Kunwar Singh Ward and praised the Prime Minister’s remarks on textiles. She said that textiles are not just a sector but a reflection of India’s cultural diversity. The fast-growing textile and apparel market is being driven collectively by rural women, urban designers, veteran weavers, and young entrepreneurs launching startups. Delhi Government Minister Dr. Pankaj Singh was also present.

MP Shri Praveen Khandelwal attended the program in Anand Niketan and said that the Prime Minister mentioned the INSPIRE - MANAK campaign, through which lakhs of innovative ideas from school children are emerging across the country. Following the success of Chandrayaan-3, enthusiasm for innovation among children has doubled.
