Police took action against the driver who played DJ at high volume under the MP Noise Control Act.
Superintendent of Police Gwalior Mr. Rakesh Kumar Sagar (Bapuse) directed all the station in-charges of Gwalior district to take action under MP Noise Control Act against those who play loud speakers and DJ at high volume during Ganesh immersion and processions. In the same sequence, Additional Superintendent of Police City (Central) Mr. Akhilesh Rainwal directed all the station in-charges under his control to visit their respective police station areas and take action against those who play loud speakers and DJ at high volume.
In compliance with the instructions of senior officers, under the able guidance of CSP Murar Mr. Rajiv Jangla, the team of police force was deployed by the station in-charge Murar Inspector Madan Mohan Malviya to take action against those who play loud speakers and DJ at high volume during Ganesh immersion and processions. Meanwhile, the police team received information that a loud DJ sound was coming from a loading vehicle on Company Bagh Road. Based on the information, the police team went to the mentioned place and saw that a loading vehicle number MP-17-G-4279 had 01 generator, 06 big DJ sound boxes, 02 amplifiers and a mixer, which were playing at a high volume. When the police team caught the driver and asked him his name and address, he told that his name was Tehsildar Jatav son of Gotiram Jatav, resident of village Math Ka Pura, police station Hastinapur, district Gwalior. The said driver was playing DJ sound at a very high volume in his vehicle. When the police team questioned the said driver about the permission to play DJ sound, he told that he did not have any permission. Whereas Section 4 of M.P. Noise Control Act 1985 clearly states that no person can play loudspeakers, DJ, etc. musical instruments without permission. On which, the police team duly confiscated one loading vehicle, 01 generator, 06 big DJ sound boxes, 02 amplifiers and one mixer from the possession of the said driver. Case No.-04/24 Section 15 read with Section 4,16 MP Noise Control Act 1985 was registered against the driver caught by Murar Police and investigation was taken up.
Name of the accused:- Tehsildar Jatav son Gotiram Jatav resident of village Math Ka Pura Police Station Hastinapur District Gwalior.
Recovered goods:- One loading vehicle number MP-17-G-4279, 01 generator, 06 big DJ sound boxes, 02 amplifiers and one mixer were confiscated.
Commendable role:- Station in-charge Inspector Madan Mohan Malviya, PR Premchand Singh, Captain Singh, R Deepak Verma, Sanjeev Basedia, Yogendra Sinkarwar, Rajesh Parihar, Raju Mogia played a commendable role.
