Safdarjung Hospital is proud to announce the inauguration of its new 3Tesla MRI machine, marking a significant milestone in the hospital's ongoing commitment to patient welfare and advanced medical care.
The new MRI machine, installed in the Radiodiagnosis Department, represents the latest advancement in diagnostic technology. With superior imaging capabilities, the machine promises enhanced accuracy in diagnosing a wide range of conditions. This upgrade is poised to provide patients with more precise diagnoses and improve the overall efficiency of the diagnostic process.

It was inaugurated by the Medical Superintendent, Dr Vandana Talwar, Principal, Dr Geetika Khanna & AMS Dr PS Bhatia, Dr RP Arora, Dr K. Suri & Dr J. Mani, and Dr K. Kumar. This marks the continued academic excellence of the esteemed hospital. “The introduction of this advanced MRI machine underscores our dedication to delivering the highest quality care to our patients,” said Dr. Amita Malik, HOD, Department of Radiodiagnosis. With its advanced imaging technology, we will be able to offer more accurate diagnoses, leading to more effective treatment plans and improved patient outcomes.  The new MRI machine will benefit the patient and reduce the waiting time significantly" assured Dr Vandana Talwar, Medical Superintendent.

The MRI machine has the latest features, including high-resolution imaging and faster scanning times, reducing patient discomfort and wait times. This technological advancement is expected to significantly enhance the hospital’s diagnostic services, ensuring patients receive timely and precise care.
