A business applicant from Indore was cheated online for Rs 4 crore 85 lakh 60 thousand.

The applicant complained to Crime Branch Indore through the NCRPP portal and got the crime registered in the Crime Branch police station.

Fraud was committed by installing apps for investment in the share market.

The accused cheated online by taking people into false confidence by showing screenshots of fake profits in the WhatsApp group.

Fraud was committed online by giving false assurance of multiple times profit.

A complaint was filed by a business applicant from Indore in Crime Branch Indore in which a link was sent to the applicant from an unknown mobile number to add him to a WhatsApp group. On clicking it, the applicant got added to that WhatsApp group. Messages related to share trading come from that WhatsApp group. The applicant used to see messages related to trading daily in the group, in which most of the people used to post messages about earning good profits by investing in the share market, due to which the applicant also started believing the messages of the group admin and contacted the group admin on WhatsApp, on which the applicant was told about trading on the said WhatsApp and was told that if you want to earn good profits then you should trade through Mstock Max app, on which the applicant, believing his words, downloaded the application called Mstock Max on his mobile by clicking on the link sent by him https://www.mstockmax.xyz. After that, the applicant created his login ID and password on that application by entering his Aadhaar, PAN card and mobile number information. After the applicant created the login ID and password on the application, the group admin told him that if he wanted to trade through the said application, he would have to deposit money first and whatever amount he deposited in the account would be reflected on his ID on the Mstock Max application. The applicant believed the fraud and made various transactions and became a victim of a scam of Rs 4,85,60,000/-.

A complaint was also filed by the applicant through the National Crime Reporting Portal/1930. On the applicant's complaint, a crime has been registered at the crime branch of the police station and the accused is being searched.
