The Representatives of the Hill Public Development Committee and various migrant institutions of Delhi, on the eve of Environment Day, was publicly congratulated by Mr. Virendra Dutt Semwal, former chairman and mentor of the Hill Public Development Committee and Vice President of Handicrafts Development Council, Minister of Uttarakhand Handloom and Handicrafts Development Council. Tehri MLA Mr. Kishore Upadhyay, who was present as the chief guest at the event, said that Mr. Virendra Dutt Semwal has worked with authenticity from separate state Uttarakhand movement to organization and party, we are very happy to get responsibility, but this work should have been done long ago.

Mr. Kishore Upadhyay said that the people of Uttarakhand should be proud that we are born from where Mother Ganga originated. Expressing gratitude to everyone for his greetings, Minister of State for Responsibility of Uttarakhand Government, Shri Virendra Dutt Semwal said that with being a textile engineer, successful businessman and Uttarakhand agitator, I was always ready to create cultural identity among the migrant society and also to serve my people. If I joined the Uttarakhand Mahasabha in Meerut due to a separate state movement, then I worked with the mountain public development committee and other institutions to serve social awakening and my loved ones.

Mr. Semwal said that it was my good fortune that the handicrafts of which I was expert, the Honorable Chief Minister of Uttarakhand gave me the responsibility of the same subject by calling himself on the auspicious day of Navratri. With a visit to inaccessible areas of all 13 districts of the state and remote villages, they met the sheep parents and assured them that they would get the government done concrete work for their welfare.
