A massive movement against toxic chemical factories is now underway on Saturday, the 27th.

Thandla MLA Veer Singh Bhuria, Meghnagar District Panchayat President Mrs. Lalita Mukesh Munia, Meghnagar Block Congress President Yamin Sheikh, and youth leader Mukesh Munia organized a meeting at the Tooti Mata Temple in front of the industrial area. Panchs, Sarpanchs, Tadvi, and hundreds of Congress workers and officials attended the meeting and informed everyone about the losses occurring in their respective areas.

Addressing the workers, MLA Veer Singh Bhuria said, "Our tribal brothers are being openly exploited. Crops are being destroyed, and fertilizers are not available on time. Everyone must use all their might to shut down these chemical factories."

Addressing the gathering, Meghnagar District President, Mrs. Lalita Mukesh Muniya, said, "The toxic chemical factories that were shut down in Meghnagar from the state of Gujarat were set up in our tribal area because our people are naive and not very educated, so they will not understand. Therefore, toxic chemical factories were set up here. By releasing toxic chemicals from these factories, they are making our land barren and our crops have been destroyed."

Addressing the gathering, youth leader Arun Aauhari said, "Scores of villages in the Meghnagar area are being affected by the chemicals released from these toxic factories. Along with the destruction of human life, animals, birds, trees, plants, and crops in the fields have also been burned. Farmers' lands are becoming barren. The health of humans, birds, trees, plants, and animals is being openly compromised."

Senior Congress leader Fatesingh Nayak addressed the gathering, stating that toxic chemicals emanating from the industrial area of ??Meghnagar are causing breathing difficulties for humans and triggering asthma-like illnesses. The toxic chemicals have killed animals, birds, fish, frogs, and other creatures. Therefore, Congress is holding a massive protest on Saturday, the 27th.

District Panchayat Vice President and Members, District Panchayat Presidents and Members, District and Block Panchayat Presidents and Members, all district and block officials and Congress workers, Mahila Congress, Youth Congress, NSUI, Thousands of Seva Dal officials and workers, along with the people of the area, will be present.
