On the instructions of Superintendent of Police Gwalior Shri Rakesh Kumar Sagar (IPS), keeping in view the upcoming festivals, all the gazetted officers and station in-charges of the district were instructed to hold peace committee meetings in their respective police station areas. In this connection, today on 02.09.2024, a peace committee meeting was organized in the Town Hall located at Maharaj Bada under Kotwali area, Police Station Kotwali, Janakganj, Madhoganj of Lashkar section. In the peace committee meeting, Additional Superintendent of Police City West Shri Gajendra Singh Vardhman, CSP Lashkar Shri Ayush Gupta, Bhapuse, SDM Lashkar Shri Narendra Yadav, Tehsildar Lashkar Ramashankar Singh, Police Station In-charge Janakganj Vipin Chauhan, Police Station In-charge Madhavganj Prashant Mishra, Police Station In-charge Kotwali RK Singh and Ganesh Pandal organizers, city Qazi, traders of the area and other dignitaries including 300 people participated.

In the peace committee meeting, detailed discussions were held with the city Qazi, traders and dignitaries present regarding the upcoming festival Ganesh Mahotsav and the program to be held on the occasion of Prophet Sahib's birth anniversary. In the peace committee meeting, everyone was appealed to maintain peace and social harmony in the area. The police officers present on this occasion said that a volunteer will be kept in the pandals set up during Ganesh Utsav who will coordinate with the police officers in case of any problem. He also said that strict action will be taken against the miscreants who try to disturb the peace on the occasion of the upcoming Ganesh Mahotsav and Prophet's birth anniversary. All of you should celebrate Ganesh Utsav and Prophet's birth anniversary in an atmosphere of mutual brotherhood in a peaceful and harmonious manner. On this occasion, the members of the peace committee also expressed their views in which the police assured full cooperation in maintaining law and order.
