Bhai Dooj naturally protects the sacred bond between brothers and sisters and strengthens family values.

This festival is a manifestation of the indigenous tradition of Indian society, where a sister's affection is rooted in a brother's moral responsibility and a pledge to protect her throughout his life. The Chief Minister said that this festival of Bhai Dooj is not only a celebration of brother-sister affection, but also a symbol of social unity, respect for women, and the preservation of our family values.

Chief Minister Dr. Mohan Yadav was addressing a special program celebrating Bhatri Dwitiya/Yama Dwitiya (Bhai Dooj) organized at the Chief Minister's residence complex on Thursday.

On this occasion, Chief Minister Dr. Mohan Yadav had a cordial conversation with the sisters and wished everyone a Happy Bhai Dooj.

During his interaction with the sisters of the state, Chief Minister Dr. Mohan Yadav also shared information about the state government's plans, achievements, and future priorities.

He said that it is my good fortune to have 12.6 million sisters as my beloved sisters.

We are adding new light and new happiness to the lives of our sisters. All the beloved sisters of the state will now receive an amount of ?1,500 every month.

There is no shortage in the government's treasury for the sisters. I am overwhelmed by the words and expressions of the sisters.

Today, we are sending ?250 to the sisters as a gift. Today, the path to prosperity is open for them.

Our sisters are the combined embodiment of Lakshmi, Saraswati, and Parvati. Madhya Pradesh is the first state in the country where, through the Ladli Behna Yojana, our sisters celebrate Rakhi and Bhai Dooj every month. He stated that the Ladli Behna Yojana is a direct path to prosperity for the state's sisters. This scheme has provided immense support and assistance to the Ladli Behna sisters in times of need. Chief Minister Dr. Yadav stated that the government has so far provided approximately 45,000 crore rupees in 29 installments to the Ladli Behna sisters of the state. The Chief Minister stated that the smiles of the sisters are the capital of Madhya Pradesh and our government. On the auspicious occasion of Bhai Dooj, he showered flowers on all the Ladli Behna sisters, extended Bhai Dooj greetings, and extended a warm welcome to everyone at the Chief Minister's residence.

Chief Minister Dr. Mohan Yadav presented gifts to the sisters and expressed his gratitude by offering sweets.

The Ladli Behna Yojana present at the event filled the venue with a sense of belonging, singing Nimar folk songs, dancing, and performing traditional melodies based on the love and affection between brothers and sisters.

Through the Ladli Behen Yojana, women living in rural areas of the state are setting up their own businesses and paying their children's school fees. Chief Minister Dr. Yadav is always ready to implement new schemes to make the women financially self-reliant.

The state government has provided reservation to the women in urban bodies and the Panchayati Raj system. New and Renewable Energy Minister Shri Rakesh Shukla, Minister of State (Independent Charge) for Backward Classes and Minority Welfare Smt. Krishna Gaur, Rajya Sabha MP Smt. Maya Narolia, Commissioner for Women and Child Development Smt. Nidhi Nivedita, public representatives and a large number of Ladli Behens were present at the program.
