A young man's hero act proved fatal for him. 18-year-old Rohit was bursting a firecracker in his mouth, resulting in a powerful explosion that shattered his jaw.

In Petlawad, Jhabua district, Madhya Pradesh, a young man's attempt to commit hero act after the Gai Gohari (Govardhan Puja) festival proved fatal for him when he attempted to burst a firecracker in his mouth. The explosion resulted in a dangerous explosion that shattered his jaw and he was taken to the hospital in critical condition.

18-year-old Rohit, a resident of Temaria in Petlawad, had gone to attend the Gai Gohari festival in Bachikheda village. After the festival, Rohit was lighting fireworks in his mouth to attract everyone's attention.

He first burst 6-7 small firecrackers by holding them in his mouth. Then, in a fit of excitement, he placed the 8th firecracker in his mouth and exploded it. The powerful blast from the firecracker severely damaged Rohit's jaw.

Petlawad SDOP Anurakti Sabnani confirmed the incident, stating that the victim, an 18-year-old youth, was bursting fireworks in his mouth to attract attention after the Gai Gohari festival when the explosion of the firecracker blew off Rohit's jaw.

Rohit was immediately brought to the Petlawad Community Health Center, where, after receiving first aid, he was referred to Ratlam due to his critical condition.
