Delhi BJP Leaders Took Charge of Ensuring Chhath Puja Arrangements

In view of the Chhath Puja arrangements in Delhi, a meeting was held this morning under the directions of Delhi BJP President Shri Virendra Sachdeva and Chief Minister Smt. Rekha Gupta. The meeting was attended by BJP MPs, ministers of the Delhi Government, MLAs, state office bearers, and district presidents.

In the meeting, Chief Minister Smt. Rekha Gupta and Minister Shri Kapil Mishra briefed everyone about the preparations being undertaken by the Delhi Government.

State President Shri Virendra Sachdeva stated that organizational office bearers, MPs, MLAs, and councillors should ensure that the efforts of the Delhi Government for Chhath arrangements reach the devotees.

The Chief Minister and the State President instructed that all office bearers, public representatives, and leaders should begin inspecting Chhath arrangements in their respective areas starting today.

MP Shri Manoj Tiwari and Delhi Government Minister Shri Kapil Mishra inspected the arrangements at the natural ghat being developed at Yamuna Ghat in Karawal Nagar.

Delhi Government Minister Sardar Manjinder Singh Sirsa, along with conducting inspections, also participated in a cleanliness drive at the under-construction Chhath Ghat at Haathi Ghat, ITO.

MP Ms. Bansuri Swaraj and MLA Shri Anil Sharma led a cleanliness campaign with party workers at the under-construction Chhath pond ghat in R.K. Puram.

MLA Shri Ajay Mahawar initiated the construction of a Chhath pond ghat in the Ghonda Assembly constituency.

At several other locations, party workers ran cleanliness campaigns along with Purvanchal Morcha President Shri Santosh Ojha.

Delhi BJP Chief Spokesperson and MLA Shri Ajay Mahawar inspected multiple Chhath Ghats including Laxmi Nagar, Pandav Nagar, and ITO, and issued instructions to the concerned officials.
