In Shrimad Bhagwadgita, karma is said to be the main thing. The earth on which we live is called Matrbhumi, along with this, Mother Earth is also called Karmabhoomi. It is called Matrbhumi because it is from Mother Earth that we get grains, pulses, fruits etc. to eat, that is, to live life, grains, fruits, medicines, vegetables etc. are obtained from Mother Earth. Mother Earth nourishes and nurtures us and only a mother can do this work, hence it is called Matrbhumi. And it is very important for a man to do karma after coming to the earth, hence it is called Karmabhoomi, it is not possible to get anything without doing karma, karma is worship. Although the field of work of every person can be different, like the work of a student is to study, the work of a soldier standing on the border is to protect the country, the work of a religious leader is to inspire people to protect religion, religious work is not limited to only doing worship, being ready to protect one's religion and one's country is also a religious work. Protecting the country and the land is also the responsibility of every person. Every person should be honest and loyal towards his work. Work is worship. While doing work, one should not give hundred percent for success, but should go even above hundred percent, that is why it is said that hard work is the key to success. The rule of this world is that without work, nothing is achieved. There are all the wealth in the world, but a man without work cannot get it. Work is the best. Without work, a person becomes useless, impotent and lazy. We should not be indifferent towards work. Indifference makes us dependent. We can never live a happy life in slavery because there is no happiness even in dreams of slavery. Therefore, it is the duty and responsibility of the person to do his work in whatever field he is in.
