Jaipur, Rajasthan Rajesh Verma:- Nature’s havoc took the lives of two people in Lalsot area of Dausa district on Friday afternoon when the weather changed. A girl student returning home from school in Daulatpura village died due to lightning and a bike rider was struck by lightning on Devli Road in the city, due to which he also died.

According to the information, at around 2.15 pm on Friday afternoon, China (17), daughter of Ramesh Meena, resident of Naliwali Dhani of Daulatpura village, was returning home after studying in a private school of the village. China Meena was hit by a celestial body with a loud roar behind the house. Lightning struck, causing her to fall unconscious.
As soon as the information was received, the family members reached the spot and took him to Daulatpura CHC. Where the doctors declared him dead. On information, Jhampada police also reached the spot and took stock of the incident. ASI Laxman Singh said that the body of the deceased student was handed over to the family members after post-mortem from Lalsot Mortuary.

On the other hand, Lalsot police station officer Hawa Singh said that bike rider Shahrukh (30), son of Kalu Khan, resident of Idgah Colony, Lalsot, was struck by lightning near Lotan ki Dhani on Deoli Road in Ward 6 of the city. As soon as information about the incident was received, Lalsot police, ward councilor Prakash Meena and Saddam Hussain and many others took him to the district hospital. Where the doctors tried to save his life for some time, but later declared him dead. Police officer Havasingh said that after post-mortem the body was handed over to the family members.
