Legal Literacy Camp organized in CM Rise Government Padmaraje Girls Higher Secondary School KampooLegal Literacy Camp held at CM Rise Government Padmaraje Girls Higher Secondary School Kampoo to educate students on legal rights.

Under the “Child Friendly Legal Services and Their Protection Scheme”, on the instructions of Principal District Judge and Chairman District Legal Services Authority Gwalior Shri PC Gupta, a legal literacy camp was organized in CM Rise Government Padma Raje Girls Higher Secondary School Kampoo. In the legal literacy camp, District Judge Shri Shyam Sundar Jha provided information about the Protection from Sexual Offenses Act (POCSO Act), good touch and bad touch, and toll-free numbers 1090 and 1098 for women and children. In the program, District Judge and Secretary of District Legal Services Authority Shri Ashish Dwande provided detailed information regarding fundamental rights and fundamental duties.

In the legal literacy camp, Civil Judge Senior Section Mr. Tapan Dharga provided information about the practical provisions of the Motor Vehicle Act and also told about cybercrime and careful use of mobile. In the camp, District Legal Aid Officer Mr. Deepak Sharma told about free legal aid, guidelines given by the Hon’ble Supreme Court regarding hit and run cases and NALSA toll free number 15100. In the program, the in-charge Principal of the school, Mrs. Reena Agarwal, while presiding over the program, appealed to keep the benefits of the information received in the legal literacy camp easily in life.

The program was conducted by Mrs. Maya Bhelsewale. On this occasion, senior teacher Mr. Narottam Garg, Mrs. Preeti Bala Lachauriya, Rajni Sharma, Nidhi Sharma and students were present.
