Three charas smugglers caught by Pithampur Sector 1 police.

Used to supply by placing them in buses going towards Gujarat and Maharashtra.

The smugglers said that by selling it in the surrounding areas at a price of ₹ 2000 per gram, they are inculcating drug habit among the people and increasing the consumption.

Gulshan Paruthi | Gwalior MP | Giving the above information, CSP Pithampur Amit Kumar Mishra said that instructions to stop the smuggling of illegal narcotic substance charas in Pithampur area were given by Superintendent of Police Dhar Manoj Kumar Singh, on which Additional Superintendent of Police Dhar Dr. Inderjit Bakalwar issued instructions to stop the smuggling of illegal drug substance charas in Pithampur area. Superintendent of Police Pithampur was instructed to activate the informer system. When the police strengthened its informer network in Pithampur area, Police Station Incharge Sector 1 Santosh Dudhi received information from the informer that (1) Jibran father Zakir Qureshi age 20 years resident of Chowpatty police station Kishanganj district Indore (2) Zafar father Zakir Qureshi age 23 years resident Chowpatty police station, Kishanganj district, Indore, an Avenger motor cycle number MP 09 NV 9995 was carrying hashish from Manpur towards Pithampur Chowpatty. On receiving the information, the said motor cycle driver and his companions were caught and interrogated as told by the informer in front of the witnesses by cordoning off the Pithampur bypass.

During search it was found that Zafar was driving the car and his brother Jibran was sitting behind carrying a blue colored school bag. On searching, the bag was found to contain five kilograms of hashish, which was duly confiscated following the provisions of NDPS Act. The accused told on interrogation that Tipu’s father Abdul Salim Khan, aged 33 years, had brought the drug from Manpur. On the basis of the above information, Tipu Khan was arrested from Manpur who told that Dewas resident Imran Khan had given the said drug which was brought from Pithampur Chowpatty to Gujarat. And it was to be supplied at different places in the buses going to Maharashtra through the persons named by Imran Khan and some drugs were also taken from the accused for retail sale in Pithampur Chowpatty, Kishanganj and Mhow areas at Rs. 2,000 per gram. Inquiry is being conducted and the price of the seized drug in the international market has been found to be around Rs 10000000/- (one crore). A team has been sent in search of drug supplier Imran Khan, a resident of Dewas.

Superintendent of Police Dhar has announced to give a cash reward of Rs 10,000/- to the commendable team, and CSP Shri Amit Kumar Mishra Pithampur has also been announced to be honored with a certificate of appreciation. In the above proceedings, Police Station Incharge Sector 1 Pithampur Santosh Dudhi, sub inspector Om Prakash Badonia, sub costeble Parihar, Q.R Suraj Tiwari. Mahesh Yadav, Manish Chauhan. Victory, Vishal Bhatkare, R. Shailendra Singh Bhadoria, Pramod, Rahul Hirve, Prof. R. Sarvesh Solanki, Prashant Chauhan had commendable contributions.
