If there were no thorns in the path, there would be no sense of life.
The destination would have remained a destination, there would have been no human history.

Gulshan Paruthi | Gwalior MP | Very emotional day when on the initiative of Collector Ashish Singh, 41 beneficiaries of our rehabilitation centre, i.e. our family members, bid farewell to the center today and were shifted to Ankit Gram Sevadham Ashram of senior social worker Sudhir Bhai Goyal of Ujjain. We have tried our best to make this day as memorable and enjoyable as possible. We had developed intimacy with them while living together for one and a half years, but with the same thought that we have to move ahead on the path of life, we are now working to make Indore beggary free again under the Smile Scheme.

At present 37 people engaged in begging are being rehabilitated at the Beggar Rehabilitation Centre. Work is being done to make them self-reliant through skill training. Many of these people are also serious drug addicts and have criminal tendencies, who need to get rid of the addiction through counselling, medical advice and medicines and also by connecting them with daily yoga, skill training, meditation and other activities. They are given the opportunity to develop self-respect in the society. The target has been set to make the general rehabilitated self-reliant by uplifting them in 3 to 6 months.
