Crime Branch and Karnataka Police arrested three armed criminal who tried to rob Lakshmi Jewelers in Bengaluru.

Gwalior dated 16.03.2024. Inspector General of Police Gwalior Zone Mr. Arvind Saxena, BHP and Inspector General of Police Chambal Zone Mr. Sushant Saxena, BHP received information from Karnataka Police that the accused of crime number 107/24 section 394,397,398,450,459 IPC, 25/27 Arms Act of Police Station Kodigehalli of Karnataka State who After returning from Karnataka, he is coming to Gwalior by Karnataka Express train. Based on the above information, Inspector General of Police Gwalior instructed Superintendent of Police Gwalior Mr. Dharamveer Singh, BHP to verify the above information and take action. From which SP Gwalior, Additional Superintendent of Police City (North/Crime) Mr. Shiaz.K.M., BHP, in coordination with the team of Karnataka Police, ordered the team of Crime Branch to arrest the miscreants coming from Karnataka after committing crimes at Gwalior Railway Station. Instructions were given to surround the express and arrest him.

As per the instructions of senior officers, under the guidance of ASP Crime Mr. Ayush Gupta, BHP and DSP Crime Mr. Nagendra Singh Sikarwar, Police Station Incharge Crime Branch Gwalior Niri. The Crime Branch team was deployed by Ajay Singh Panwar to surround the Karnataka Express at Gwalior Railway Station and arrest the three criminals. When the crime team coordinated with Karnataka Police team in-charge ACP Muru Gendre at Gwalior Railway Station through mobile phone, it was found that the three miscreants traveling in Karnataka Express also had illegal weapons and they were suspected to be in the general bogie. From which Crime Branch in-charge took information regarding Karnataka Express at Gwalior Railway Station from the team and came to know that the said train was coming to platform number 2 and one compartment of General bogie was in front, and two compartments were behind, which The police team was then divided into two parties and deployed to cordon off the front and rear coaches of the General bogie. As soon as Karnataka Express reached the railway station, the Karnataka Police team was contacted and two miscreants were surrounded and caught from the rear compartment of the train. On asking the names and addresses of the arrested miscreants, they told themselves to be residents of Ramnagar Dixit street and Gidauli police station, Porsa district, Morena. When the arrested miscreants were interrogated about their companions, they told that in the incident, when the companion’s pistol, resident of Birrua police station, Ambah district, Morena, fell, in an attempt to rob a shop with his pistol, someone shot him with the pistol, which hit him in the neck. Is. His other companion, resident of Ghuraya Basai/Tiktoli police station, Sumawali district, Morena, was also with him and at the local level, help was received from Japthap, resident of Chinnauni police station, Morena.

On inquiring about the above mentioned miscreants, it was also told that the said miscreants had come by the same train in sleeper class, and it was decided to get down at Gwalior only. When the above mentioned two miscreants were taken along and searched outside the railway station, the miscreants were caught. Two accomplices were seen, who were surrounded and caught by the Karnataka Police team and Crime Branch Gwalior Force. The caught miscreant who was shot in the neck at the spot of the incident, Lakshmi Jewellers, admitted to having committed the incident. During interrogation, the other three miscreants admitted to having committed the said incident. Due to which the police team seized and arrested the said three miscreants and PSI Kaushik of Karnataka state took action and the injured miscreant was admitted to JAH Hospital Gwalior for treatment and police personnel were deployed for security. Karnataka Police is taking transit remand in the case of Crime Number 107/24 Section 394,397,398,450,459 IPC, 25/27 Arms Act of Kodigehalli police station.

Details of the incident:- On 14.03.2024 at 11:40 pm, an attempt was made to rob Lakshmi Jewelers Devinagara in Kodigehalli police station of Karnataka state by four unknown miscreants armed with weapons. In which the miscreants opened fire and shot two persons in Lakshmi Jewellers. Where a criminal’s bracelet fell, the person in the jewelers shot him with his own bracelet, which hit the criminal’s neck. Due to which he was injured and his companions ran away taking him in injured condition. Armed criminals had made a heinous and sensational attempt to commit robbery in broad daylight. A case of crime number 107/24 section 394,397,398,450,459 IPC, 25/27 Arms Act was registered in Kodigehalli police station regarding the above incident.
