Union Minister Gajendra Shekhawat protested in Jodhpur, showed black flags

Jaipur, Rajasthan (Rajesh Verma):- When Union Jal Shakti Minister Gajendra Singh Shekhawat reached Bhalu Uday Nagar village of Balesar area on Thursday, the villagers protested and raised loud slogans. Villagers and angry BJP workers also waved black flags in the crowd. Union Minister Shekhawat had reached Balesar, Sekhala and Shergarh on Thursday to participate in various programs. During the day, many people in Shergarh also raised slogans against Shekhawat and showed black flags. In view of this protest, a large number of police forces were deployed under the leadership of Jodhpur District Rural Additional SP.
Shekhawat was scheduled to reach Bhalu Uday Nagar at 3.15 pm, but by the time he arrived late, it was already dark. When Shekhawat’s convoy reached the Bear Uday Nagar program, many rural and angry BJP workers who were already in preparation staged a vigorous protest, waving black flags in their hands and raising slogans in favor of Modi and against Shekhawat.
Meanwhile, key BJP workers and police personnel tried to pacify the angry workers, but the workers kept raising slogans. Keep in mind that this was the first visit of Union Minister Gajendra Singh Shekhawat to Shergarh Assembly constituency after declaring him as the candidate from Jodhpur parliamentary constituency. Had to face a lot of opposition in the first round also. Shergarh MLA Babu Singh Rathore did not attend these programs of Shekhawat. Local BJP workers said that there is resentment among the BJP workers due to the interference of the Union Minister in the work of the Shergarh MLA.
