Indore Geetkar Damodar Virmal:- Rs 19 crore 17 lakh came into the accounts of 95 thousand 812 farmers of the district. PM Kisan Utsav Day was celebrated in the district today. Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi today transferred the 16th installment of Kisan Samman Nidhi into the accounts of farmers with a single click through a program organized in Yavatmal, Maharashtra. 95 thousand 812 farmers of Indore district were benefited from this. An amount of Rs 19 crore 17 lakh has come into their accounts as Samman Nidhi.

On this occasion, a program was organized in the meeting room of Collector Office, Indore under the chief hospitality of MP Shri Shankar Lalwani. On this occasion, a large number of farmers including MLA Mr. Ramesh Mendola, Mr. Madhu Verma, Collector Mr. Ashish Singh, Additional Collector Mrs. Sapna Lovanshi and Mr. Roshan Rai were present. In this program, the 16th installment of Prime Minister Kisan Samman Nidhi was transferred to 95 thousand 812 selected farmers of the district. In this program, live telecast of Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi’s program organized in Yavatmal, Maharashtra was shown. Such programs were also organized at the block and gram panchayat level. Addressing the program, MP Shri Shankar Lalwani said that special efforts are being made by the Central and State Government for the welfare of farmers. Farmers are also being provided agricultural equipment and other facilities on subsidy. Drone scheme has also been started to connect farmers with modern farming. Under this scheme, drones are being given to farmers on subsidy. He said that Samman Nidhi is also being given to the farmers. So far, more than Rs 300 crore Samman Nidhi has been given to the farmers of the district.
