Jhabua Rahim Sherani:-The day which is eagerly awaited after the sighting of the moon of Shaban is the day of Shab-e-Baraat. Shab-e-Baraat was celebrated with simplicity all over the country.

Muslim community was very excited

On the night of Ratjaga Jagran on 25th February, Quran was recited throughout the night, Namaz was performed and fasting was done in the morning by Sehri. The elders, children and women kept fast during the night towards Jagran.

Precautions will be taken to fast the whole day, and precautions will be taken to break the fast after Maghrib Azaan. There is a belief in the Muslim community that the reward for the worship done on this day is very high. According to the Islamic calendar, the month of Shaban is considered a very holy and auspicious month. It is said that the worship done on this day has so much power that it grants forgiveness from any kind of sins. Actually, the moon of Shaban was seen in this month and this festival of 15th Shaban is very important for the followers of Islam.
It is also known as Shab-e-Barat or Shab-e-Barat. According to the Islamic calendar, Shab-e-Baraat is celebrated every year on the night of the 15th of the month of Shaban.
Special prayers of Shab-e-Barat are also offered on this day.

The night of Shab-e-Barat is considered one of the 4 holy nights in Islam.

On this day, Muslim communities come to mosques and cemeteries to remember their ancestors. Sweet dishes were prepared at home and the night of Shab-e-Barat is considered one of the four sacred nights of worship in Islam.
The first is the night of Ashura, the second is called Shab-e-Meraj, the third is called Shab-e-Baraat and the fourth is called the night of Shab-e-Qadr. Muslim community prayed all night and repented from their sins, today is Roza.
