Indore Geetkar Damodar Virmal It has been made mandatory for milk sellers to keep a fat machine in the institute to check adulteration in milk. In order to maintain the health of the general public and maintain public peace, orders have been issued under Section 144 by Collector and District Magistrate Mr. Ashish Singh for the entire revenue limit area of Indore district. Action will be taken against those who do not keep fat machines in institutions.

As per the restrictive order issued, all milk sellers/dairy operators should not sell fat and SNF in their establishments. Must ensure availability of measuring instruments. All milk sellers/dairy operators should check the fat and SNF in the milk being sold. According to the Food Safety and Standards Act 2006 and Regulations 2011, the prescribed/standard quantity and the quantity present in the milk product will be compulsorily displayed electronically on the display or by writing on the notice board. All milk sellers/dairy operators test milk for fat and SNF in front of consumers, if they wish. Will inform you about the quantities. All milk sellers/dairy operators will provide necessary information and training regarding measuring instruments to the consumers as per requirement.

All milk sellers/dairy operators who supply milk door-to-door should carry measuring instruments with them or should print fat and SNF labels on milk cartons/cans. The quantity per day will be mandatorily mentioned along with the date. It is mandatory for all milk sellers/dairy operators to maintain records of milk arrivals and sales daily as per the Food Safety and Standards Act 2006 and Regulations 2011. Also, FAT and SNF are included in the said register. Will ensure that the information is also mentioned.
Compliance with all the above mentioned points will be checked from time to time by food safety officers. If any kind of irregularity is found, the Food Safety Officer will prepare a case under the Food Safety Act 2006 and Regulations 2011 and present it in the competent court.
Inspection of dairies started by food safety officers. In compliance with the order issued by Collector and District Magistrate Mr. Ashish Singh, a team formed by Additional Collector Mr. Gaurav Bainal is conducting sampling for testing of milk and milk products under the campaign to get rid of adulteration. . By the team of Food Safety Officer, Jai Shri Charan Shyam Milk Dairy located on Chhota Bagdada Road, Muskaan Dairy and Sweets, Nandvansh Milk Curd Store Khatiwala Tank, Snehal Dairy Manikbagh Road, Rajnandani Dairy Milk Curd Store Sukhdev Nagar, Shri Akhand Bharat Milk and Milk Food Piplyakhal. , Sanwariya Dairy & Sweets Sirpur, Suhana Dairy Dhar Road, Shakti Dairy Dhar Road, Bheru Bhavani Dairy Dhar Road, Sri Dev Dairy Jai Sri Nagar, Mehar Dairy Dhar Road, Shiv Shakti Dairy Dhar Road, Madhuram Dairy Dhar Road, Ganesh Dairy Dhar Road , Shriram Dairy Dhar Road, Manmohan Dairy Nagin Nagar have been investigated. Out of these 17 dairies, fat machines were found in 08 dairies. The remaining dairies have been given a final warning under Section 144 regarding mandatory installation of fat machines and displaying information about fat and SNF on the notice board. In re-inspection, action will be taken as per law against the dairy operator who does not follow the above order. 47 samples of milk and milk products have been taken for testing by a team of food safety officers from the said establishments. On receiving the investigation report, action will be taken as per rules.
