Gwalior Gulshan Paruthi Divisional Commissioner Deepak Singh has adopted a strict attitude against the officials responsible for the slow progress of the works of GDA (Gwalior Development Authority) and negligent towards the implementation of the decisions taken earlier by the Board of Directors. In this regard, suspension action has been taken by Divisional Commissioner Singh against GDA Estate Officer Dr. Dinesh Dixit and Executive Engineer BD Mishra. He has taken this action after excessive laxity and negligence of these officers came to light during the review of development works in the meeting of the Board of Directors of GDA held on Monday.
In the meeting of the Board of Directors of GDA held in the auditorium of the Divisional Commissioner’s office here, Municipal Corporation Commissioner Harsh Singh and Additional Collector TN Singh along with officials of Town and Country Investment and GDA and other members of the Board of Directors were present.
During the review of development works done by Divisional Commissioner Singh in the meeting of the Board of Directors, it was revealed that due to non-issuance of NOC by the estate officer of GDA, the owners of residential plots and buildings allotted by GDA are facing a lot of difficulty. Is. Similarly, the Executive Engineer is being lax in implementing the decisions taken by the Board of Directors. Because of this, the development work of GDA is being unnecessarily disrupted. When this situation came to light, the Division Commissioner expressed his displeasure and took strict action against the concerned officers.
In the meeting of the Board of Directors, the Divisional Commissioner stressed that unnecessary obstacles should not be created in the roads of the master plan being made by the GDA, and adverse remarks will be recorded in the confidential file of those SDM, Tehsildar, RI and Patwari who work contrary to the rules. Along with this, strict legal action will be taken. He instructed the GDA officials to reach the Collectorate’s TL meeting and bring to the attention of the Collector the revenue related issues due to which the work of the GDA has come to a halt. The Divisional Commissioner instructed the Additional Collector present in the meeting to resolve the problems related to demarcation of land for the roads being built by GDA by sending RI and Patwari.
The Divisional Commissioner has sought information about the salaries received by the Executive Engineers, Assistant Engineers and Sub Engineers posted in GDA along with the DPRs, evaluations, bills and works completed in the last one year. He has clarified that strict action will be taken against those technical officers who are taking money without any work.
In the meeting of the Board of Directors, the Divisional Commissioner has asked to submit the presentation of the DPR of the proposed road route from Airport to Sada by Friday. Besides, instructions were given to the concerned officials to prepare DPR for the renovation of Mafi temples. He expressed displeasure over the delay in this work. He also gave instructions in the meeting to provide space to the remaining government offices operating in Motimahal in Madhav Plaza.
In the meeting of the Board of Directors of GDA, as per the master plan, it was also decided to increase the area of land selected by GDA for the city development plan around the proposed road from village Bhatkhedi to village Ramaua. Now the area of this urban development project will be 146.23 hectares instead of 143.80.
