Nutritional food distributed under Prime Minister’s TB-free campaign

Indore Tahir Kamal Siddiqui Nutritional food was distributed to the poor under the Nikshay Mitra scheme launched by Prime Minister Narendra Modi under the TB-free India campaign. Under the campaign, nutritious food was distributed to 15 poor TB patients at the District Tuberculosis Eradication Center by Nikshay Mitra youth social worker Divyansh Chauhan. Social worker Divyansh Chauhan celebrated his birthday in a unique way by taking a meaningful initiative. Which should be adopted by every youth, this initiative will eradicate TB from the district, state and the country. We will be able to make the dream of a free India, which has been initiated by Prime Minister Narendra Modi, meaningful. Ashok Chauhan (Chandu Mama) also participated in the program. Divyansh Chauhan’s father has appealed to all the dignitaries present and the general public to stop TB in the society. It is taking the form of a terrible serious disease. This disease mostly preys on people from weaker sections, the main reason for which is that the person is not able to get enough food. Other people of the society also suffer from poor helpless TB. People congratulated Divyansh Chauhan for this meaningful initiative. All the officers and employees of the District Tuberculosis Eradication Center were present in the program. Nikshay Mitra Scheme, started in Indore district from 17 September 2022, under this scheme, any person, organization, society, NGO, senior citizen, public representative can help a poor TB patient by becoming Nikshay Mitra. The patient can be adopted during his treatment for 6 months. At present, 594 Nikshay Mitras have been registered under this scheme and 1348 food baskets have been distributed. Total registered TB in the district last year. The number of patients is 9446.
