Giving information, senior Pandit Mustafa Bhai Arif of Meghnagar Ali Asghar Bohra Dawoodi Bohra community said that the 53rd religious leader of the Dawoodi Bohra community, Syedna Mufaddal Saifuddin performed the 40th Al-Dai Al-Mutlaq Syedna Hebatullah Al-Moyyad at the Mazar-e-Najmi Ujjain complex. On the occasion of his death anniversary, he delivered a sermon at the Kadri Masjid on Kamari Marg today.
Syedna Mufaddal Saifuddin Sahib enumerated the great qualities of Syedna Hebatullah Al-Moyyad and how he worked tirelessly for the betterment of the community and society at large. He mentioned one of his incidents, how Syedna al-Moayyad took the lead in making drinking water publicly available by personally supervising the cleaning and rejuvenation of a well that had become unusable during a severe water shortage.
Syedna Mufaddal Saifuddin Saheb also emphasized on the historical and cultural importance of Ujjain and highlighted its strategic geographical location. He noted how the Kshipra River, which flows through the city, is held sacred as a symbolic divider between the north and south of the city. In his sermon he mentioned the role of Ujjain as an important center for trade and commerce throughout India. Addressing over 30,000 community members who gathered at the Qadri Masjid complex and other community centers in the city, the Syedna inspired them to develop the best characteristics, especially to stay away from wrongdoing and continue serving humanity.
