Gwalior Pavan Paruthi Superintendent of Police, Gwalior Mr. Rajesh Singh Chandel, on the instructions of BHP, gave instructions to all the police station in-charges to take effective action against the absconding accused in the robbery case, habitual criminals, illegal weapons and those involved in the purchase and sale of illegal liquor and drugs. In compliance with the above instructions, Additional Superintendent of Police City (Central) Mr. Akhilesh Renwal has directed his subordinate police station in-charges to take effective action by running a campaign against looting, embezzlement and habitual criminals and under Section 392 of IPC under Section 392 of Gwalior police station. And in the case of 11/13 MPDPK Act, instructions were given to Gwalior police station in-charge to search for the wanted accused and arrest them soon.
Following the instructions of senior officers, under the guidance of CSP Gwalior Mrs. Shubha Srivastava, a team of police station incharge Gwalior Inspector Jitendra Singh Tomar was deployed to trace the accused in the said robbery case. Today, on 10.02.2024, during investigation and through informant, information was received that one of the two boys riding a motorcycle who committed the robbery on the said incident date was standing near the fish market. Based on the above information, the police team was sent to the place indicated by the informer. The police team saw a boy standing at the place told by the informer, who tried to run away from the spot after seeing the police but was surrounded and caught by the police team. On asking the name and address of the arrested boy, he told him to be in Gwalior near Jahangir Katra Bhairo Baba Temple. When he was interrogated regarding the said incident, an attempt was made to mislead the police team. But upon thorough questioning, he revealed that he along with his partner had robbed the woman’s mobile phone and purse. On the testimony of the accused caught by the police, the motorcycle Splader MP-07-MK-0479 used in the incident, a looted Redmi company mobile and Rs 1500/- from the looted money were recovered from his house. The police searched for the second accused in the said case at his hiding place but was not found. The accused caught by the police is being interrogated in connection with other robbery incidents in the area.
It is known that the complainant Madhavi Watham, resident of Krishna Colony, Sagar Tal Road, Gwalior, had lodged a report in the Gwalior police station that on 10.01.2024, at around 06.00 pm, she was returning to her home from her office city center via four city blocks. As soon as she reached Char Shahar Naka in front of Janmitra Kendra on foot, two unknown boys riding a motorcycle came from behind and the boy sitting behind on the motorcycle snatched the black colored purse hanging on my shoulder. And ran away from the spot. The purse contained a Redmi company mobile and about Rs 18,000 in cash. On the report of the complainant, FIR 21/24 Section 392 IPC and 11/13 MPDPK Act was registered in Gwalior police station and taken up for investigation.
Seized Mashrooka:- The looted mobile phone of Redmi company worth approximately Rs 11000/- and the looted Rs 1500/- and the motorcycle used in the incident Splendor number MP-07-MK-0479, total Mashrooka worth approximately Rs 65500/-.
