MIC in-charge took meeting regarding smooth traffic system, gave necessary suggestions

Gwalior Gulshan Paruthi dated 08 February 2024- A departmental review meeting was organized under the chairmanship of Mr. Vinod Yadav (Mathu), member in-charge of the traffic and transportation department of the Municipal Corporation. After discussing various points, necessary suggestions related to traffic improvement were given by the committee members.

In the meeting held at TLC of Bal Bhawan, committee members and councilor Dr. Sandhya Sonu Kushwaha, Mr. Ravi Tomar, Mr. Vivek Sonu Tripathi, Mr. Kapil Sharma, Mrs. Premlata Dharmendra Jain, Mrs. Anjana Hari Babu Shivhare, Mrs. Mamta Arvind Sharma, Councilor Mr. Manoj Rajput, Councilor Ward 07 Manish Sharma, Mr. Shakeel Mansoori, Assistant City Planner Mr. Pradeep Jadaun, Alcohol Prevention Officer Mr. Keshav Singh Chauhan, Nodal Officer Traffic Cell Mr. Mahendra Prasad Agarwal, Assistant Engineer Mr. Screw Repairing Mr. Haseen Akhtar, Ms. Tanuja Verma and other concerned. Officers were present. Social worker, Munendra Bhadoria, Sikandar Yadav Jalalpur (media in-charge Yadav Mahasabha), Radheshyam Rajput ji, Suresh Prajapati, Aman Shankhwar, Shashi Sharma, Ajay Yadav, ji were also present.

In the meeting, alternative routes to solve the traffic problem in the city were discussed and necessary suggestions were given by the committee members. Along with this, necessary suggestions were given by discussing the vehicles parked on the main roads which affect the traffic. Also, discussions were held on making speed breakers outside important important places of the city like hospitals, schools etc. and necessary suggestions were given to keep left turns free at intersections for smooth traffic.

In the meeting, necessary suggestions were given regarding increasing the timing of traffic lights at intersections as per requirement for ease of traffic system and the jam caused due to lack of traffic light at Laxmiganj intersection. The closure of towing vehicles for illegal collection in parking was also discussed in the meeting. Regarding this, it was decided to write a letter to the officials of Police Traffic Department, Revenue Department, Municipal Corporation and Smart City in the upcoming meeting to be present in the meeting.
