Gwalior Pavan Paruthi Gold chain and a scooter were looted from the arrested accused. Half a dozen cases have been registered against the accused in Morena and Gwalior districts including robbery, robbery, attempt to murder and other cases.
08.02.2024. Taking seriously the incident of robbery that took place with an elderly woman in Sirol police station area on 05.02.2024, Superintendent of Police Gwalior Mr. Rajesh Singh Chandel, BHP, directed for the arrest of the accused and quick disposal of the case. On the instructions of Superintendent of Police Gwalior, Additional Superintendent of Police City (East/Crime/Traffic) Shri Rishikesh Meena, BHP, conducted a search of the accused in the crime number 32/24 section 392,342,506 of IPC 11,13 MPDPK Act of Police Station Sirol for the speedy arrest of the police station. Instructions were given to form a team.
Following the instructions of senior officers, under the guidance of CSP University Ms. Hina Khan, a team of the police station was deployed by police station in-charge Sirol Inspector Alok Singh Bhadauria to search for the accused in the said robbery case. The police team raided the hiding places of the accused. The footage of CCTV cameras installed on the roads leading to the spot was checked by a team of Sirol police station, in which a black colored suspicious scooter number MP07-SB-7617 was seen. When information about the owner’s address was obtained and verified, the owner of the said scooter was not found at home, after which informers were recruited to trace the owner of the scooter/suspicious person. During the investigation and on the basis of technical assistance, the police team got information that the person riding the scooter had gone from Morena to Jhansi with the scooter, which is likely to reach Siraul Highway near Hotel Down. On the informer’s information, the police team was sent to Siraul Highway near Hotel Down. The police team found a person of similar appearance as described by the informer, sitting on the side of the highway on a scooter, who tried to run away with the scooter as soon as he saw the police. The suspect riding a scooter who was fleeing from the spot was surrounded and caught by the police team. On asking his name and address, he revealed himself to be from Ganeshpura police station, Kotwali district, Morena hall, Mira Nagar police station, Murar, Gwalior. When the arrested suspect was interrogated in connection with the robbery that took place in the police station area, he first tried to mislead the police team, but on in-depth interrogation, he confessed to having committed the robbery. The accused was interrogated regarding the gold chain and ring that were looted in the incident. The gold chain was worn by him himself around his neck. The looted gold chain and scooter number MP07-SB-7617 were duly seized from the accused caught by Sirol police station. Inquiries are being made regarding the other looted goods, Mashruqa. Five cases of robbery, attempt to murder and assault have been registered against the arrested accused in the City Kotwali and Bamour police stations of Morena district. Information is being taken regarding other criminal cases of Gwalior district.
It may be known that on 05.02.2024, the said accused had forcefully removed the gold chain and gold ring from the neck of the complainant Madan Mohan Katare’s mother, Mrs. Munni Devi, by threatening her. From which, crime number 32/24 section 392,342,506 IPC 11,13 MPDPK Act was registered against the said accused in Sirol police station and taken up for investigation.
Seized Mashrooka:- One gold ring and one scooter, total Mashrooka worth Rs 1 lakh.
