In Indore district, major action is being taken by the district administration staff on the instructions of Collector Shri Ashish Singh against those who have illegally constructed and occupied government land and are illegally selling government land. Under this, today 64 illegal constructions done on government land were demolished by the joint team of District Administration, Municipal Corporation and Police. In this action, valuable government land worth Rs 8 crore 65 lakh was freed from encroachment.

SDM Shri Omnarayan Badkul said that action was taken to remove encroachment by the joint team of District Administration, Municipal Corporation and Police in Noorani Colony, Khijra Park and Laxmi Nagar near the airport wall. In this area, government service land, road land and Nazul land were sold by land mafia. On which the illegal construction of houses/shops/factories built by encroachment was demolished. Shri Badkul told that by demolishing 18 houses of raw tin shed built in Khasra No. 44 Item Service Land (Government) of Gram Bank, the area of service land of Gram Bank is 0.253 hectare land, the market price of which is approximately Rs 1 crore 70 lakh. Is. The market value of the new and under construction illegal house, godown type, teen shed built on Khasra No. 96/1 area of 2.673 hectares in village Sirpur is approximately Rs 4 crore 80 lakh. Similarly, 11 illegal pucca godowns and small tin shed commercial level factories were built on survey number 101 government land (Madh Road), which were demolished. The land on the government road was freed from encroachment, the market value of which is approximately Rs 2 crore 15 lakh. Thus, today a total of 64 encroachments located on 3.973 hectares of land were removed whose total market value is approximately Rs 8 crore 65 lakh.
