Indore (Geetkar Damodar Virmaal) Development works will be carried out to make the famous Shri Khajrana Ganesh Temple more beautiful and to provide better facilities for the devotees. A master plan will also be prepared for this. As per requirement, renovation work of the temple will also be done. This decision was given in the meeting of the Temple Management Committee held under the chairmanship of Collector Shri Ashish Singh. In the meeting, Chief Senior Priest Mr. Mohan Bhatt, Mr. Ashok Bhatt, Priest Mr. Jaidev Bhatt and all the priests, Divisional Forest Officer Mr. Solanki, Additional Commissioner Municipal Corporation Mr. Manoj Verma, Atty. Deputy Commissioner of Police Shri Amarendra Singh, A.C.P. Mr. Mandloi, Mr. Saurabh Maheshwari of Smart City, Architect Mr. Pritam Gupta, Mr. Amit Agarwal, Mr. Sanjay Lunawat, Mr. Suresh Pherwani, Mrs. Suthibai Daulatram, Chief Trustee of Chhabchariya Trust, Mr. Balkrishna Agarwal (Ballu Bhaiya), Rinku Agarwal of Goyal Parmarthik Trust, Regional councilor Shri Pushpendra Patidar, Shri Kailash Patidar and other devotees were present.
In the meeting, a presentation of the project of renovation of the infrastructure of the main temple of Shri Ganapati Temple was shown. Also, the project prepared by the urban planner of the smart city for the beautification of the external premises was inspected. Collector Mr. Ashish Singh directed to prepare the master plan of the entire temple complex in 15 days. It was decided to seek suggestions and public cooperation from priests and devotees in the master plan. Instructions were given to form a committee to make a new golden crown for Lord Ganesha. Along with repairing and renewing the silver on the outer wall of the main temple, it was also decided to put silver on the outer wall of Shiva Temple and Durga Temple with public cooperation. For which also a committee will be formed. It was decided to constitute a sub-committee (comprising the chief priests of the temple) to determine the procedure for hoisting the flag on the peak of the main temple. In this way, instructions were given to establish other essential works, wash area of food area, kitchen, collection donation and assistance center, bag and other material scanners.
In the meeting, instructions were given to contact reputed institutions for construction of a hospital on the land owned by Shri Ganpati Temple Management Committee located in village Kailod Kartal, Rau. Instructions were also given to prepare an application to facilitate the visitors to have darshan on social platforms. Collector Shri Ashish Singh inspected the progressive work (Bhakta Sadan) and discourse hall in the campus. Chief Trustee Smt. Suthibai Daulatram Chhabchhariya was instructed to install acoustic stick sheets in the preaching hall and complete the remaining work by March 2024. Rinku Aggarwal of Shri Goyal Parmarthik Trust also assured that all the work will be completed by March 2024. It was decided to celebrate Mahashivratri festival traditionally with pomp and show on 8th March.
