Like every Tuesday, this Tuesday also a public hearing was held in the Collector’s office. Collector Shri Ashish Singh especially listened to the problems of the disabled in the public hearing. He seriously listened to the words of Sangeeta, a disabled woman who came to the public hearing. She told that I am disabled and want to do my own business. I know how to sew clothes well. If I get a machine for sewing, I will start earning income. The Collector immediately gave instructions to give him the sewing machine. Similarly, immediate financial assistance was provided from Red Cross to Rajesh Kumar, Lakshmi Aggarwal, Mohammad Isaak, Nida Fatima, Kadeer Abbasi, Varsha Parihar etc. who reached the public hearing. Through this single window, work related to pension, Aadhar card, disability certificate, UID, composite ID etc. of the disabled people will be done. Along with this, disabled people will also be able to apply for artificial limbs here. A portal will soon be launched for the disabled to provide jobs. On the initiative of Collector Ashish Singh in Indore, popular for innovations, to provide jobs to disabled people in private companies and to connect them with startups. The portal will be launched soon. On the one hand, those wishing to get a job and start a startup will be able to apply, while on the other hand, job providing companies will also register themselves and provide jobs to the eligible youth. Necessary help for startup will also be given to the youth. Fair will be organized for employment and self-employment. On the initiative of Collector Ashish Singh, an employment fair will be organized on 20th February to help the disabled. In this, the disabled people who want to start their own startup will be provided benefits under the schemes of the Central and State Government by the officials. With this, the disabled people who want employment will be provided jobs in major companies of the city.
