Additional Commissioner Reviews Revenue Collection: Rs. 11,68,306 Property Tax Collected at Camp

Gwalior (Pavan Paruthi) Date 29 January 2024 – To ensure 100% recovery of property tax, Additional Commissioner Shri Vijay Raj held a meeting with the property tax officers and gave necessary guidelines. In the meeting, Additional Commissioner Shri Vijay Raj directed the concerned officers to organize property tax camps in all the property tax areas and make them aware about the property tax collected daily. Along with this, information was taken about the recovery of commercial institutions like hotels, lodges, schools, nursing homes, shops etc. and necessary instructions were given.

Under the property tax recovery camp, 76 receipts and Rs 3 lakh 8 thousand 382 were recovered in the form of property tax in ward 18,19,25 under John number 8 today in the camp at various regional offices. Also, property tax amounting to Rs 1 lakh 34 thousand 977 was collected by deducting 27 receipts in the form of property tax in wards 21, 22 and 23 under area number 10. APTO Mr. Shailendra Chauhan, Area Officer Mr. Ajay Sharma were present during the proceedings.
Along with this, property tax collection action was taken during the camp in Ward 49 and 40 under Zone Number 18. In which Rs 1 lakh 36 thousand 450 were recovered by issuing 30 receipts. Building Officer Mr. Virendra Shakya, Building Inspector Mr. Brijesh Rajput, APTO Mr. Mahesh Kushwaha and TC Mr. Rakesh Kushwaha were present during the proceedings. Also, in Ward No. 64,63, property tax of Rs 2 lakh 12 thousand 598 was collected by Building Officer Mr. Rajeev Soni, APTO Mr. Mahesh Parashar, ZO Mr. Prakash Ahirwar, Tax Collector Mr. Ramesh and Mr. Dilip.
Under the property tax recovery campaign, Rs 3 lakh 75 thousand 899 were recovered in wards 24,28,30, 57,58,59, 29 and 60 under regional offices 11, 13 and 14. APTO Shri Mahendra Sharma was present during the proceedings.

Property tax camps will be organized at these places today

As per the instructions of Municipal Commissioner Shri Singh, camps are being organized under all the regional offices. The said camps will be organized from 11 am. In which a camp will be organized on 30 January 2024 at RP Colony Park for area number 6, Mainawali Gali for area number 13, at Regional Office 19 for area number 19, near Transport Nagar Police Post for Ward 64.
