Gwalior (Sandeep Shukla) 27.01.2024 – On the instructions of Superintendent of Police Gwalior Shri Rajesh Singh Chandel, BHP, tight security arrangements have been made in the Gwalior Fair. In which SDOP Behat Shri Santosh Patel has been given the responsibility as the fair in-charge and along with two inspectors and a subedar, a force of more than 200 has been deployed, and traffic force has also been deployed for the traffic management. Yesterday, the purse of a gardener selling flowers had fallen in the fair. In which there were Rs 2500 and important documents. The purse was found by eight year old Aryan Meena and his younger sister and they immediately informed their parents. After which all of them came to the fair police control room, and gave the purse to the police and told that the children had found this purse dropped by someone in the fair. When the police called the purse owner, his wife started crying emotionally after seeing the purse. Seeing the honesty of both the children, Gwalior Trade Fair in-charge SDOP Behat Mr. Santosh Patel found a unique way of giving rewards to the children.

Both the children were garlanded by fair in-charge SDOP Behat Mr. Santosh Patel, then the police personnel took the children on their shoulders and took them around the fair and after that, everyone including their parents were made to swing by the policemen by moving their hands on the human-powered swing. It has been announced to give excellent rewards to people who show honesty. When the child was asked why he returned the purse full of money, the answer was that I do not want to be dishonest and certainly not a thief, I can become anything else. Inspector Rajendra Parihar, Subedar Raghavendra Zadon and police staff were present in this work. The efforts of this initiative of the police have shown that the valuables Malik lost in four incidents in the last few days have been recovered.
