Lakhisarai (Atmanand Singh) Under the joint aegis of Samagra Seva and Educate Girl, a girl honor-cum-festival program was organized on the occasion of National Girl Child Day in the Balika Vidyapeeth campus located in Purani Bazaar of the city. The said program was inaugurated by Lakhisarai ADM Sudhanshu Shekhar. In the programme, girls were honored with Shiksha Samman for their excellent achievements in the field of education. Addressing the girls, Sudhanshu Shekhar said that all of you girls should keep performing better in the field of education and bring glory to yourself, your family and society. If a girl gets educated, she along with her works to educate the entire family and the next generation. You have to move forward without stopping, without getting tired and inspire others to move forward too. He appreciated the work of Samagra Seva and the members of the organization. He congratulated the organization for its achievements in Lakhisarai district and said that due to the efforts of all of you, the percentage of drop out children has reduced and improved. Principal of Balika Vidyapeeth, Kavita Singh, who was presiding over the program, said that girls should raise their voice for their rights and entitlements and this will be possible only when they are educated. Abhinashi, who was conducting the program, informed everyone about the ongoing work on girl education through the organization Samagra Seva.
Describing the achievements of the organization, he said that last year the organization has added 5000 girls to schools in Lakhisarai district.Organization worker Sanoj Kumar said that we can imagine a developed society only when the participation of girls is complete, without the participation of girls, a strong and educated society cannot be built. He further said that Samagra Seva is working intensively at the grassroots level for girl education, girl child upliftment and girl empowerment. Last year, the organization has added 5000 girls to schools in Lakhisarai district. Former principal of Balika Vidyapeeth Shailendra, teacher of Durga Girls High School, all the teachers and teachers of Balika Vidyapeeth and all the Samagra Seva workers and more than a hundred girls were present in the programme.
