Madhya Pradesh Police Spearheads Statewide Cleanliness Drive Gwalior District Takes Charge

Gwalior (Pavan Paruthi) January 18, 2024. Instructions have been given to run a special cleaning campaign in all the government offices of the state from January 16, 2024, to January 21, 2024. In line with the above instructions, a special cleanliness campaign was conducted in all the police units of the state on January 18, 2024, at 9.30 a.m. In which all the office buildings, police stations, posts, and police lines were cleaned in Gwalior district also. Under this campaign, Superintendent of Police Gwalior Shri Rajesh Singh Chandel, BHP, along with police officers and soldiers, conducted a cleanliness drive in the SP office and control room premises. On this occasion, Superintendent of Police (East/Traffic/Crime) Shri Hrishikesh Meena, BHP, Addl. Superintendent of Police Dehat Shri Niranjan Sharma, Atty. Superintendent of Police (Central) Shri Akhilesh Renwal, Att. Superintendent of Police West Mr. Gajendra Vardhaman, trainee IPS Anu Beniwal, in-charge DSB Mr. Umesh Mishra, in-charge Chief Clerk Mr. Surendra Parmar, and all the staff of DPO Gwalior were present.

During this campaign, Superintendent of Police Gwalior instructed the present police officers and employees to maintain files and records in the office systematically and to arrange dustbins at various places. He directed the police officers and employees to always maintain cleanliness in their workplace and said that all the police employees should constantly maintain cleanliness at their workplace and take care of windows, doors, furniture, records, etc. The Superintendent of Police, Gwalior, also planted saplings in the park of the SP office. On this occasion, he said that more and more trees should be planted to keep the environment clean.

The Superintendent of Police Gwalior also participated in the cleanliness campaign in Police Line Gwalior and gave instructions to keep the residential complexes, including Police Line, clean and tidy. During the special cleanliness drive conducted today, along with police personnel, police officers also contributed to the cleanliness drive. The rough and uneven land lying vacant at the police station, outpost, and line premises was also leveled by the police employees. The plants in the police station, posts, and police line premises were also irrigated, and new plants were also planted. SP Gwalior said that this special campaign of Shramdan for cleanliness will continue in the future as well. The campaign launched today was carried out in all the police stations and offices in the district.
