Collective Appeal for Peace Safeguarding the Dignity of Lord Shri Ram’s Statue in Gwalior

Keeping in view the consecration of the statue of Lord Shri Ram in Ayodhya on January 22, Collector Gwalior Akshay Kumar Singh and Superintendent of Police Gwalior Rajesh Singh Chandel today held a meeting of eminent citizens and organizations of the society in the Police Control Room auditorium. In the meeting, Police ASP (East/Crime/Traffic) Rishikesh Meena, BHP, ASP Niranjan Sharma, Akhilesh Renwal, Mr. Amrit Meena, Mr. Gajendra Singh Vardhaman, CSP Lashkar Shiaz KM, BHP, and CSP Murar Vidita Dagar (BHP) trainees were present. IPS Anu Beniwal, CSP Maharajpura Mr. Nagendra Singh Sikarwar, CSP Inderganj Mr. Ashok Singh Jadaun, CSP Gwalior Shubha Srivastava, DSP Traffic Mr. Ajit Singh Chauhan, Police Inspector Gwalior Mr. Satyaprakash Mishra, and Sant Kripal Singh ji, along with eminent citizens of the society, were present.

In the meeting, Collector Shri Akshay Kumar Singh said that as part of social and cultural activities, lamp donation programs will be organized on January 22 with everyone’s participation, and along with the lighting of lamps in temples, common people will be awakened for the festival of lights voluntarily in homes. He said that along with cleanliness, lighting, lamp lighting, etc., cultural events based on Lord Shri Ram-Janaki will also be organized through the Trust Committee in the major temples of the district. Ramlila will also be organized at various places in the district. Therefore, the citizens of Gwalior district should take care of decorum in the events to be organized in Ayodhya, keeping in view the life consecration of the statue of Lord Shri Ram proposed on January 22. In the meeting, Collector Gwalior asked the organizers to compulsorily give information about the events and processions to be taken out on January 22 to the SDM and the concerned police station in-charge.

In the meeting, Superintendent of Police Gwalior told the people present that on the occasion of the consecration of the statue of Lord Shri Ram in Ayodhya on January 22, it is necessary to appoint a volunteer in the pandals of the event to be organized in Gwalior district, who will coordinate with the concerned police station in-charge and make arrangements. Will cooperate in keeping. Apart from this, the sound of the loudspeaker installed in the pandal should not be too loud, and at the same time, ensure that the bhajans or songs being played in the loudspeaker are related to Lord Ram only, songs that hurt someone’s faith. Should not be played. Apart from this, he appealed to the followers of all religions, saying that there is a lot of joy across the country regarding the grand temple. In this enthusiasm, avoid making unnecessary comments against any religion or sect. Do not post indecent and unnecessary statements or wrong comments on social media platforms, which may hurt any religion or community.

We will cooperate in maintaining the system so that the general public does not face any problems, and the organizers should keep the volume of the loudspeakers low in the pandals set up around the hospitals so that the patients do not face any problems. The organizers of the pandals set up on the road should take special care not to block the traffic but also to maintain the traffic order. It is mandatory to inform the concerned police station in-charge about the events and processions to be taken out on January 22 so that arrangements can be made and traffic is not blocked.
