Food traders of the city were given training under FOSTAC scheme

Gwalior, (Pavan Paruthi) 13 January. In order to train food traders, under the FOSTAC scheme of Food Safety Standards Authority (FSSAI), a one-day training camp was organized today by MPCCI in ‘Chamber Bhawan’ in collaboration with Global Institute of Research and Foundation, Indore.

Chairman-Dr. Praveen Aggarwal, Joint President-Hemant Gupta, Vice President-Dr. Rakesh Aggarwal, Honorary Secretary-Deepak Aggarwal, Honorary Joint Secretary-Pawan Kumar Aggarwal and Treasurer-Sandeep Narayan Aggarwal have informed in the release issued to the press that after the power point presentation by Sanjay Kale, the authorized trainer of Food Safety Standards Authority (FSSAI). The food businessmen present were trained through this medium. While giving training to the food businessmen, the rules of 2011 of the Food Department which are mentioned in Schedule-4 were explained to the businessmen in the training and they were suggested to follow the same in the future. Anuj Saxena, Global Institute of Research and Foundation, Indore was specially present on this occasion.

Officials said that 76 food businessmen participated in the above camp and took training. The businessmen received information about the legal provisions of the Food Safety Department with great enthusiasm. The businessmen present in the camp also asked many questions related to their business to FSSAI’s authorized trainer Sanjay Kale, on which the trainer answered the questions of all the businessmen and appealed to follow the rules of FSSAI.

Executive members – Shri Nand Kishore Goyal, Rajesh Makhija, Mahendra Sahu along with President of Dal Market Association – Dilip Panjwani and Krishna Gopal were present in the camp.
