Jhabua (Rahim Sherani) On the occasion of Swami Vivekananda’s birthday and Youth Day, a district-level Surya Namaskar program was organized at Government Girls Higher Secondary School, Jhabua. The ceremony started by lighting the lamp on the pictures of Mother Saraswati and Swami Vivekananda, and everyone together did Surya Namaskar.
MP Gumansingh Damor told the students that yoga is the way to keep the mind healthy, and Youth Day is celebrated because youth are the destiny makers of this country, and Prime Minister Narendra Modi has pledged to make it a developed nation by 2047. Along with education, the MP was asked to do yoga daily. Collector Ms. Tanvi Hooda told me that before doing any work, make your thinking and ideas your goal, work on them, and do not stop until you complete them. I was told about how Surya Namaskar keeps us mentally and physically healthy. The Superintendent of Police, Mr. Agam Jain, explained the importance of yoga and inspired everyone to do yoga daily. Like every year, Swami Vivekananda’s birthday, January 12, 2024, was also celebrated as Youth Day.
Excerpts of the historical speech given by Swami Vivekananda in Shikang were also narrated to the students. During this, Chief Executive Officer District Panchayat Smt. Rekha Rathore, Additional Collector S. S. Mujalda, Joint Collector Bhupendra Rawat, Deputy Collector Mrs. Asha Parmar, Assistant Commissioner Tribal Affairs Department Mrs. Nisha Mehra, and officers of various departments, teachers, and a large number of students were present.
