Ajmer, Rajasthan (Rajesh Verma) A new accident insurance scheme, the Neeva Bupa Plan, has been started by the India Post Payment Bank of the Indian Postal Department in Beawar district. Through this scheme, Rs 15 lakh will be given to the dependents of the common man in case of death due to accident at a very low premium amount. An amount of Rs. 100 will be provided. Under the new insurance scheme launched by the department on January 10, 228 new policies have been made by Beawar Mandal with excellent performance. The Superintendent of Post Office, Beawar v. Jain, said that under this accident insurance scheme, accident insurance of Rs 15 lakh is being provided to the common people at an annual premium of Rs 755.
Jain told me that the policyholder gets a cover of Rs 15 lakh in case of permanent disability due to an accident, a hospital daily allowance of Rs 1,000 in case of an accident, a teleconsultation with the doctor, a health checkup once a year, cover in case of a bone fracture or burn, etc. On death, an amount of up to Rs 1 lakh will be payable for children’s education and marriage. Jain said that to avail of the benefits of this scheme, the interested person will have to go to the post office and open an IPPB premium account. After this, he can get himself registered for this policy, and the premium amount will be deducted from the IPPB account online.
