Gwalior (Pavan Paruthi) Today, dated January 8, 2024, on the instructions of Superintendent of Police Gwalior Shri Rajesh Singh Chandel (BJP), effective action is being taken to arrest vehicle thieves and criminals in Gwalior district. In line with the above instructions, Additional Superintendent of Police City (East/Crime/Traffic) Mr. Hrishikesh Meena, BHP, instructed police station in-charge Sirol to develop an informer system to catch the thieves by recovering the stolen vehicles from the police station area. On January 7, 2024, information was received through an informant that on January 3, 2024, three vehicle thieves were going to bring a stolen motorcycle in front of DB City under the Sirol police station area. On the above information, ASP City (East/Crime/Traffic) directed the team of Police Station Sirol and Crime Branch to verify the informer’s information and check the vehicle in front of DB City.
In compliance with the instructions of senior officers, under the able guidance of DSP Crime Mr. Shiaz.K.M., BHP, DSP Crime II Mr. Nagendra Singh Sikarwar, and CSP University Ms. Hina Khan, Police Station Incharge Crime Branch Inspector Amar Singh Sikarwar and Police Station Incharge.
Sirol Inspector Vinay Singh Tomar directed the joint team of Police Station Sirol and Crime Branch to check the vehicle in front of DB City, as told by the informer. Police
During the vehicle checking in front of DB City, the team saw three suspicious boys coming on a deluxe motorcycle, who, seeing the police vehicle checking, tried to run away by turning the motorcycle back, but the soldiers standing on alert surrounded and caught the three persons. Went. When the three arrested persons were interrogated regarding the deluxe motorcycle found in their possession, they tried to mislead the police team. When the police team interrogated the three persons thoroughly, all three of them, along with one of their associates, admitted to stealing the said motorcycle from Together Restaurant on January 3, 2024. From which the police team duly seized the stolen deluxe motorcycle and arrested all three vehicle thieves in the case of IPC-02/24 Section 379 of Sirol police station. When the three arrested vehicle thieves were interrogated about their other accomplice, on their testimony, the fourth accomplice was arrested from Gadaipura, from whom 11 stolen motorcycles and 01 scooter were seized, which the four vehicle thieves took to Murar, DB Mall, Stolen from Phoolbagh, District Morena, Bhind, Etawah.
It is known that on January 3, 2024, complainant Narottam Rawat, a resident of village Amkho Pahadia, Gwalior, filed a report at the Sirol police station that he works at the Together restaurant. This morning I parked my deluxe motorcycle outside Together restaurant and went inside for work. In the evening, when I came out to go home, I did not find my motorcycle where it was kept, which had been stolen by some unknown thief. On the basis of the said report, the APC-02/24 section was registered against the unknown thief in Sirol police station.
Case 379 was registered and taken up for investigation. 12 stolen motorcycles and one scooter with a total value of Rs 6 lakh and 50 thousand were recovered.
