The first day
program of this festival was presided over by the former Education Minister of
the Government of India and well-known litterateur – Honorable Ramesh
Pokhriyal, while along with him was Mr. Deepak Choudhary, an officer working in
the British High Commission. Renowned litterateur Dr. Santosh Choubey, Prof.
were on the stage. Apart from Anamika, Anil Sharma Joshi, Alok Mehta, Dr.
Sachchidanand Joshi, Arun Maheshwari, Dr. Alpana Mishra, Neelima Dalmia. Aadhaar,
Dr. M.N. Nandakumara, Zakia Zuberi, Sanjeev Paliwal, Mayor Afzal Kiani, Apara
Kuchhal, L. P. Pant and Pratyaksha Sinha had a dignified presence. British MP
Virendra Sharma was also present on the occasion.
90 renowned litterateurs from 14 countries
of the world were present in full time in this international event. Expatriate
writers from other countries including London made every effort to take it to
the highest level of success. The energy and determination with which the
collaborators participated directly and indirectly in every event of this
festival cannot be appreciated enough.
Divya Mathur, coordinator-manager of the
Indo-European Hindi Mahotsav, along with the team of her literary-cultural
organization ‘Vatayan-UK’ welcomed the guests from 14 countries of the world,
after which the program was formally inaugurated by Dr. Nandita, Hindi and
Culture Officer working in the British High Commission. It happened due to
Saraswati Vandana done by Sahu.
