Governor Shri Mangubhai Patel grandly inaugurated the free relief mega health and surgery camp in Jhabua

Jhabua Rahim Sherani Governor, Government of Madhya Pradesh Shri Mangubhai Patel’s Kar Kamals grandly inaugurated the free relief mega health and surgery camp in Jhabua on Monday at 3 pm. This camp is located at Royal Garden Complex, Badkua Road, Jhabua Madhya Pradesh. Organized under the joint aegis of Madhya Pradesh Government and Rotary Club.

Governor Shri Mangu Bhai Patel was welcomed by MP Shri Guman Singh Damor, administrative officials and Rotary Club on his arrival at Gopalpura airstrip at 2:45 pm. Thereafter, the Governor reached Jhabua at 3 pm and inaugurated the mega health camp organized by the Rotary Club. Addressing everyone with the slogan of Bharat Mata, the Governor expressed the serious concern of the Central Government and the State Government regarding the issue of health in tribal dominated areas. According to the data of the state government, there is a huge outbreak of sickle cell and anemia in Jhabua. Regarding this, while directing the health management, the Governor said that sickle cell and anemia should be screened at the elderly level through this camp. Due to which, out of the estimated 32 patients, 28 patients were found to be sickle cell carrier patients, due to which the Governor expressed concern.
Governor Shri Mangu Bhai Patel gave his statement regarding sickle cell only. He said that in his entire life, I have never seen such a health camp where a team of doctors is present on such a large scale and is helping in distribution of free medicines and treatment. He also talked about better arrangements and treatment for the patients of sickle cell anemia found in the tribal children’s area. In which gratitude was also expressed along with thanks to the 108 doctors who came to the camp. He also inspected the stalls of 30 doctors and gave necessary guidelines and also directed Ratlam Jhabua MP Guman Singh Damor to increase the arrangements for continuous cameras and tests in the district hospital in Jhabua.
Addressing the program, MP Guman Singh Damor said that this entire event was organized under the aegis of the district administration and Rotary’s Division 3040, in which patients from across the district will be tested and treated. Arrangements were also made to pick and drop patients from their areas in the health camp. About 3520 patients from rural areas including the city were registered in the camp. The camp will be organized till March 3.
Among the guests present on the stage in the program were regional MP Guman Singh Damor, Arun Kumar Mongia, Rotary Governor Dr. Ritu Grover, program coordinator Dheeraj Dutta, Director of Aurobindo Hospital Indoor Vinod Bhandari, Umang Saxena Kartik Neema, Yashwant Bhandari and all the members of the Rotary Club.
