“Now, the concept is evolving from an industrial area to an industrial city. This means that the city will have various amenities, recreational and sports facilities. Bihar Industrial Area Development Authority (BIADA) has allotted 727.02 acres of land to 521 units from the beginning of the financial year 2025-26 to till date, Ms. Singh said, adding that these projects envisage an investment of ₹18,380.25 crore and the creation of 49,167 employment opportunities. Besides, a network of 94 industrial areas has been developed in Bihar. Through the Bihar Semiconductor Policy 2026, initiatives have been undertaken to promote the development of advanced technology-based industries in the State.

A total of 47,075 beneficiaries have received assistance through six sub-schemes under the Chief Minister’s Entrepreneur Scheme (Mukhya Mantri Udyami Yojana). More than ₹3,414 crore has been disbursed under the scheme.
